Most Christians, when asked about the story of Job, will give you the following account. “Job was a righteous man, without sin, who was very blessed of God. And one day Satan went before God and asked if he could afflict Job. This affliction would be a test, to see if Job really loved God or not. And God in His great wisdom and souverenty gave Satan His permission to bring affliction upon Job.”

This story has been interpreted this way for a great many years. It has been the topic of many sermons regarding humility, and God’s will. But I submit to you that this story of Job is not the story you have most likely been told. The Biblical account of Jobs affliction is vastly different than that of the one most Christians believe, and many preachers preach. Satan has used this story to make God one who abuses and afflicts His Children, to satisfy His own desire and will. Even if that means innocent people die and or suffer unjustly as a result. This one story has cheapened the awesome power and seriousness of the Covenant in which we have through Christ Jesus between God and those who belong to Him as Children, purchased and adopted by Jesus shed Blood.

This story, having been twisted and manipulated by Satan, and accepted by the vast majority of Christians has now brought about a great deception within the body of Christ that God allows bad things to happen to His people. Now, picture this in your head.

This is ridicules, no Father would let their little Child be beaten and killed right before their eyes and do nothing about it. If they did they would be just as guilty as the one killing the Child. Even more so because as a Father it is your duty and obligation to protect and defend your Children. When God became our Father we entered into a Covenant with God. At that moment we became His property, and God became responsible for our protection and wellbeing. Now we must stay within the parameters of God’s protection. We can walk away from God’s protection, but God can not allow us to be unprotected unless we walk outside of the parameters of His protection.

I am an American citizen if I went into another country and got into trouble I could go into the American embassy and find refuge and protection. But if I walk outside that embassy my protection is no longer available, only within that embassy am I guaranteed protection. I must stay within the parameters of their protection. So it is with God when we sin or disobey God we are walking outside God’s parameters and into Satan’s territory. This is not God allowing destruction. It is us leaving God’s Protection. Job found himself in this very place. As we shall see it was not God allowing Job to suffer and his entire family to die. It was Job walking outside the Parameters of God’s word and God’s protection. I am tired of people blaming God, I don’t like people lying about my Heavenly Father and blaming Him for the horrible things we see in the Earth today. IT IS NOT GOD’S FAULT !!! In most cases it is consequences of our own sin and disobedience, and as a result we walk outside of the parameters of God’s protection.

(The Cause of Job‘s Affliction)

Job believed the lies Satan was speaking to him ( see Job 4:12-15) and that brought fear. Because of that fear Job chose to believe the lies of the Devil rather than God. Because of This, Job Chose to speak evil, death, destruction, etc.. over his life and he reaped the benefits of it. The only one to blame for the tragedies in Job’s life is Job and his big mouth ! Not God.

8Will you also annul (set aside and render void) My judgment? Will you condemn Me [your God], that you may [appear] righteous and justified? Job 40:8 (Amplified Bible)

Job was in sin as well as denial about his sin. God chastised Job for making God’s Judgment against that sin void by saying he was not sinning that he was righteous and that God was unjustly bringing Judgment Upon Job.

1Then Job answered the LORD, and said, 2I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. 3Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. Job 42:1-3

Job finally realized he was in sin and that his words were what was bringing this destruction God was judging Job , God was not, for no apparent reason, playing with job like a little rag doll. And allowing Satan to destroy Job and everything he had as God sat by and let him do it, just to prove a point to the Devil. This has been the false and twisted view point of many Christians for a very long time. Every time God brings judgment it is because we are in sin. It’s not that God allows evil to come upon us we are merely reaping the benefits of Spiritual Laws. ( The wages of Sin is Death !)

God is souveren, He is All powerful, But He also has delegated supreme authority over this Earth and placed that Authority upon human beings, in order for us to be in charge of this Earth. While God is the ultimate power and Authority, and when it is all said and done His Word will come to pass and He alone will be God and King of this Universe who rules and reigns over all things, peoples, and places, , but In the right here and now, by God’s own perfect design, His Human creation has complete authority and dominion over this Earth and everything in it. God’s will at this point and time is not being carried out in every area of this people Planet. If it were, no one would die and go to Hell ( 2 Peter 3:9) but they do. Why ? Because God’s will is not imposed upon us, it is merely suggested, yea even commanded, but it is entirely up to us to obey God’s will or not.

The word forbid here means to Bind or Lock, The word Permit means to loose or open. We Humans have the God given power and dominion authority in this Earth to Allow or not Allow what takes place in this Earth. And when we do make a choice Heaven, By God’s own souveren Decree, is Bound to enforce our decisions. Religious people get all mad when you start saying God is bound by our choices, but it is God Himself that made it that way. We are created in His image and God wants us to act like it. By God having put us in charge of this Earth it did not take away our need for God, it makes our need for Him even greater. That is why the World today is in such disarray, people make decisions that are contrary to God’s word. Christians can’t even agree what God’s Word says, and so we make choices to Kill, to steal, to hate, etc…

And God lets us choose that path but it opens the door for judgment. Then there are those who obey God, follow His word, and Do what we have been commanded to do, and God’s blessings are poured out upon them. The big question, always asked, is why does God allow bad things to happen, the answer is, because we do ! Our choices Have consequences. Good or Bad. I for one Thank God that He didn’t make us to be mindless robots who are unwillingly forced to obey by the wrathful hand of an angry God. No ! , This is the God of religion, the angry taskmaster who tells you what you can’t have, what you must do, and that His gifts and Biblical promises are longer available for you today because you just happened to be born in the wrong dispensation .This is not the God of Christianity. He is The savior, The healer, the deliverer, the giver of all good things, the one who does not change but forever remains as He was, is , and will be. Praise God For His Love forevermore !

God has made these things so because He declared it by His Word. And God will always be Bound to His Word, for He Himself, by His own souveren Decree, has placed His Word even above His very Name.
